Never  Be The Same

I don’t know where it comes from

From her or from him

From some cosmic place within

A galaxy inside

Somehow has shrunk back to size

But I will never be the same

No, I will never be the same

Each mark and each curve that remains

Evident divine change

Patient yet sudden

Months that took hours to happen

And I will never be the same

No I will never be the same

Gentle forgiveness for the softness I see

Now I’m more that I’ve been

wont be kept small

How can I? I feel for us all

And I will never be the same

No I will never be the same

Oh every cell is now new

The world somehow too

No “us” and no “them”

Love, an extension of self and now

I will never be the same

No I will never be the same

No “I”

Will  never be the same
